As a dual major in Design, Innovation, & Society, I've had the opportunity to produce work through every Studio course in my curriculum, meant to embody every step of the Design Process (Define, Ideate, Prototype, Analyze) to culminate into a final personal project through Senior Design Studio.

As an avid learner with boundless interests, my mind runs at a million miles a minute. In order to capture these thoughts and delve deeper into them, working on projects, whether that be a campaign proposal to a re-brand to producing creative content/media, allows me to express these evolved thoughts in a tangible format to share with others.

Some Highlights of My Life

Some Highlights of My Life

about me

"jack of all trades, master of some, learner of all."

As the saying goes, you can be a "jack of all trades, and master of none," but with the internet giving us the ability to quite literally learn just about anything at our fingertips, this statement just doesn't hold true anymore.

As a life-long member of the mind-running-at-a-million-miles-per-hour club, I've always had so many interests spanning international affairs to agriculture to fashion design to drumming and more. Growing up, when society points you down the typical path of college and a career where the road appears to only get narrower the further down you go, that's what you believe, leaving me with an internal struggle with all of these interests.

Over time, what I've come to realize with time is that we are not living in the society we used to, so the saying has to change with it. I have come to embrace my boundless  curiosity and can affirm that I am a "jack of all trade, master of some, learner of all."

So instead of choosing between my business endeavors and creative-side,

"Why don't we have both?"

  • Studying abroad at NTU in Singapore for 3 months before the start of COVID

  • Getting off the 7 train at Flushing, Main Street & grabbing a steaming char siu bao to-go

  • Crying during Christina Tosi's episode of Chef's Table (Volume 4, Episode 1), realizing my passion for food & a self-made woman

  • Unexpectedly crying (wow, we're on a roll here with the tears) on the last day of the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion program, realizing how important a community of women who raise you as you raise them has been for my personal growth
